WELCOME to our purchase or donation page.  Your help keeps the cemetery in good condition and provides a quiet resting place for our loved ones.  Those wishing to donate may select from the list below to designate where you wish to help. 

General Operating Fund

The general fund, sometimes called the maintenance fund, controls the overall operation of the cemetery.  Unless designated, undesignated funds flow to this fund.

Hint:  Press PayPal button.  On the next screen, enter quantities of $5.00 you wish to donate.   

 Example:  $5.00 x 5 =$25.00 donation.

Permanent Fund

The permanent funds are funds on which only the interest earned can be spent.  We hope to reach a point that interest earned will provide the funds needed to mow the cemetery each year.

Example:  $5.00 x 5 = $25.00 donation

Fence Fund

The fence funds are  used to make payments on a bank loan for the cemetery wrought-iron fence purchased on June 15, 2010.

Unmarked Grave Fund

Many graves from past years were lost until Providence Cemetery in partnership with Franklin County Geneaology Society  began to research deaths and identified many lost graves.  These funds were used to place markers at the identified plots.

Landscaping Fund

 Landscaping funds are used to plant or replace dying or weather beaten trees and shrubs.  Lightening struck one large cedar tree on the west side of the cemetery this year.

Land Expansion/Emergency Fund

Expansion funds are held for that purpose.  In the future, we may need to expand.

Emergency funds are held for unforseen occurrances we had no way to plan for.

A filing fee can include 1 or more plots.
